Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a foundation in accounting and finance, while learning from a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Process and code incoming invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Obtain approvals and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts

• Assist with preparing weekly check runs and electronic payments

• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries professionally

• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies

• Assist with expense report review and reimbursement processing

• Help with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations

• Support the accounting team with general bookkeeping duties and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or an internship in a similar role

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
