Job Title: Network/Computer Engineer

Job Description:

Sumaria Systems is looking for a motivated Network/Computer Engineer to execute in the AFLCMC/WNR Division. The advanced training division "Delivering the Skill to Kill" has a mission statement of " Arming warfighters with advanced training capabilities to dominate evolving global threats." with a vision of experiencing competition before crisis or conflict to conquer any adversary.

Required Skills/Education:

Qualified candidates shall have knowledge of computer engineering and software virtualization in support of the design, development, testing and evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and administration of new and/or existing computer networks. Within the role, you shall assist in the application of an understanding of systems acquisition, systems and subsystems level hardware and software integration, systems requirements analysis and allocation, computer systems architecture, and systems and subsystems testing and evaluation. The candidate shall have knowledge of the DoD Defense Information System Network (DISN) infrastructure as well as dedicated services such as point-to-point connectivity and Internet Protocol-based services and Virtual Private Networks. In addition, the candidate shall have Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer (IEEE) Distributed Interactive Simulation and High Level Architecture standards knowledge to provide assistance in engineering efforts to solve complex technical issues affecting network standards. The Contractor shall have at least a general working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and procedures required to achieve an Authorization to Operate (ATO).

Education:

Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD or, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
