DIVISION CONTROLLER

Location : Ogden, UT

Reports to : CEO

Compensation : $120 - $140K + bonus

Your Role:

Our Division Controller will bring a strong industry background to support our high-performing manufacturing businesses. This hands-on role will oversee financial operations for two of our locations, including reporting, controls, budgeting, and forecasting. You will play a critical role in leading our business into an exciting future.

What You’ll Do:

• Financial Oversight & Reporting: leads financial decision making by establishing and enforcing policies, managing audits, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and overseeing monthly/year-end closes.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership to prepare budgets and forecasts, conduct overhead and variance analysis, and guide strategic financial planning.
• Cash & Asset Management: Manages cash flow, fixed assets, bank relationships, and investment strategies to maximize returns and minimize financial risk.
• Performance & Strategic Analysis: Analyzes financial data to identify opportunities, evaluate capital projects, and support operational improvements and decision-making.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensures adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws; supports corporate tax reporting; and safeguards sensitive financial information.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years’ progressive experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry
• Collaborative and hands-on approach to working in the business
• Strong financial acumen and desire to drive business strategy
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial operations, and internal controls
• Proven ability to build structure in a growing, multi-site environment
• Outstanding communication and a high level of attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Globalshop, Epicor, E2, CenterPoint, and QuickBooks – a plus!
• Current security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance – a plus!
• Must meet US Person requirements
