Salary: $110,000 - $130,000  
 

Schedule:  Full-Time, Live- out 5-day workweek primarily Monday – Friday with flexibility to work weekends as needed

Overview:
A formal private household on Park Avenue in the Upper East Side of New York City is seeking an experienced and professional  House Manager /   Butler to join their established team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in formal service and household operations, with a hands-on, team-oriented approach. 

Household Details:

• Primary residence: Townhouse on Park Avenue, NYC
• Secondary residence: Sagaponack, NY (summer)
• Two adult principals (three grown children not living at home)
• Two small dogs

Responsibilities:

• Provide formal table service for lunch and dinner
• Oversee daily household operations and liaise with existing staff
• Assist with pet care as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and common spaces
• Coordinate with Chef, Housekeeper, and Driver to ensure seamless household support
• Greet guests and assist with hospitality and events as needed
• Oversee vendors and contractors in the residence
• Occasionally accompany the family and support the summer residence in Sagaponack 

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a formal private household
• Strong knowledge of service etiquette and household protocols
• Discreet, professional, and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Dog-friendly and willing to assist with pet-related tasks
• Valid Driver’s License 
• Strong professional references required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
