Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Nuclear Surety Project Engineer for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other aerospace system development, acquisition, operations, and sustainment efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to support the US Air and Space Forces’ acquisition and integration of next-generation technologies and capabilities. This Systems Engineer Will Work with a highly skilled team providing engineering support for the next-generation ICBM, the LGM-35A Sentinel, and includes integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise and other DoD customers and stakeholders. Required Education, Experience, & Skills 7 years of progressive technical experience with a BS or 5 years with a MS Prior experience working with program managers including technical and business-based briefings Solid background in DoD, Air Force, and MIL-STD Nuclear Surety Instructions, Manuals, and requirements Knowledgeable in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) basics Experience developing external customer relationships and ability to communicate Nuclear Surety concepts and requirements with senior leaders Effective organizational, time management, and communications skills (written and verbal) Able to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, and organize daily tasks with minimal supervision Strong communication skills (oral and written) commensurate with expected mid- to senior-level civilian and military participants from various U.S. Government agencies Current U.S. Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Active DOD Top Secret Clearance or higher is preferred but not required. Experience with requirements software like IBM DOORS. Experience with MBSE software like Cameo or Rhapsody. Coursework in systems engineering. Knowledge of / experience with ICBMs is a plus. Knowledge and/or experience with Surety processes is a plus. Salary Min $94,728 - Max $161,038
