About the Role:

Visiting Angels is seeking a proactive and people-focused Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing team. In this essential role, you will be the face of our caregiver recruitment efforts—helping us attract, hire, and retain top-tier caregiving professionals. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage caregiver recruitment efforts, including job postings, ad placements, and creative sourcing strategies.

• Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate fit.

• Maintain and optimize our applicant tracking system.

• Oversee onboarding processes, including new hire orientation and required documentation.

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies.

• Support payroll processes by accurately inputting employee status changes and timekeeping records.

• Partner with the Retention Coordinator to manage employee files and HR data (new hires, separations, benefit tracking, etc.).

• Monitor compliance items, critical deadlines, and eligibility timelines.

• Represent Visiting Angels at job fairs and community recruiting events.

• Support the development of recruitment marketing materials and other hiring initiatives.

• Perform additional tasks that support caregiver hiring, engagement, and retention.

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative coordination (home care or healthcare industry highly preferred)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Tech-savvy with comfort using ATS platforms and payroll systems

• Detail-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude

• Passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors and caregivers
