Job Description

Our client, a succesful broker/dealer is looking for a Social Media Manager to support the firm’s online presence and content distribution. THIS IS A FT ROLE IN THEIR MID-TOWN OFFICE. (not remote, and not hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Develop social media strategy and create original content that supports brand and engages target audience.
• Manage day-to-day activity across the firm’s LinkedIn, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts.
• Implement marketing campaigns, using SEO, social media, and content optimization.
• Draft and publish social posts and social content calendar in coordination with Research and Investment Banking. Corporate Access teams.
• Ensure all content is aligned with organization's standards and regulatory/compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Social Media Platforms.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• 2–4 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or corporate communications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to tone and brand voice.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, X, and social media publishing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Design skills or familiarity with Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms a plus.
