- *Overview**
- *Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Building Automation Systems (BAS) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex automation systems that optimize building performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. The BAS Engineer must have a strong background in HVAC, mechanical systems and controls, along with a deep understanding of control software and protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
- *Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Metasys building automation systems or in a similar role. Experience with loTenabled BAS and cloud-based control platforms preferred. Prior hospital maintenance experience preferred.
- *Education/Licensure/Certification:** High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Certification in Building Automation System (CBAS), Johnson Controls Metasys BAS Certification, Control System Technician (CST) Certification. EPA section 608 certification is a plus.
- *Pay Scale Information**
$61,360.00-$105,965.60

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
