Position Summary:

Winter Park Resort is on the lookout for a strategic marketer with exceptional project management skills to lead our ancillary business unit marketing plans and maximize visitor spending. As the Marketing Manager , you will collaborate with various Resort business units—including Food & Beverage, Rentals, Retail, Ski + Ride School, and Activities—to:

• Understand seasonal objectives
• Strategize effective marketing tactics
• Coordinate and manage the execution of strategic marketing plans
• Report on campaign results to both the marketing team and business unit owners

This role is pivotal in aligning with the greater Resort and marketing goals, allowing you to prioritize requests based on their impact on overall Resort KPIs. You will report directly to the Director of Marketing.

Wage:

The base salary range for this position is $67,000 - $80,000 . Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, training, and other factors. This range is just one part of Winter Park Resort's total compensation package, which includes various region-specific benefits.

Essential Duties:

• Regularly meet with business unit Directors and Managers to understand their products and goals.
• Align marketing strategies with other resort Marketing Managers to drive visitation.
• Analyze audience motivations to develop compelling products and promotions.
• Coordinate and prioritize marketing initiatives based on business impact.
• Brief the marketing team on business unit needs and build strategic integrated marketing plans.
• Set clear expectations with business units and the marketing department.
• Maintain the marketing calendar with promotions and messaging strategies.
• Project manage and report on marketing plan execution progress.
• Analyze and report on marketing campaign results, providing optimization recommendations.
• Develop and maintain processes for gathering requests and sharing marketing plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Broad knowledge of marketing channels: web, email, app, social media, advertising, and signage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships across departments.
• Inquisitive mindset with strong project management skills.
• Understanding of brand identity and maintaining consistency across channels.
• Attention to detail, highly organized, and process-oriented.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and creatively solve problems.
• Strong business acumen and sense of ownership.

Education Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
• Experience in account management or project management is a plus.
• B2C experience preferred; experience in hospitality, travel, or ski industry is a plus.
• Passionate outdoor enthusiast with a love for the mountain lifestyle.
