Job Description
Job Title: Surgical Technician

Job Specialty: OR Tech (Operating Room)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 10-hour days, four days per week (Tuesday - Friday), Call required, every other weekend, first to float

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years

License: Required to submit

Certifications: BLS, ACLS; CST is preferred

Must-Have: Very heavy experience in neuro, ortho, endo, vascular specialties. Experience with robotics is required.

Job Description:

- Scrub, set up, and maintain a sterile field.
- Perform duties of a Surgical Technician for all surgery specialties.
- Take call and float to downtown campus as needed.
- Work within the acute care setting.
- Use Cerner as the charting system.

Candidates should be ready for a rigorous environment with a wide variety of cases and must be flexible with floating requirements. Orientation includes 12 hours to ensure a smooth transition.
